Lighthouse
First tourist attraction in the town, Torredembara’s lighthouse was built at the end of XXth century to help sailing off the coast of Costa Daurada.
This lighthouse is the highest tour from Catalonia : 58 metres above sea. It is located near Punta de la Galera, on the south of Torredembarra’s beach, at 13 km from Tarragone.
This lighthouse is the latest built in Spain.

This area will offer you many choices of visits for your holidays in the UNESCO World Heritage Site : the city of Tarragone. At few kilometres from the campsite, there is the roman archaeological site and the historic medieval centre.
You will discover ramparts, theatre, amphitheatre, arena, and vestige of the past. You can also discover roman’s item at the archeological museum.
You can take a walk in the city centre, go and see the cathedrale and ramble in city street : Jewish quarter, Casa canals, Casa Castellarnau, El Médol or El Diablo Bridge If you want to continue the visit, there are other places that you cannot miss, such as the old Santa Tecla hospital, the Jewish quarter, Casa Canals, Casa Castellarnau or outside the city with the El Medol quarry or the El Diablo bridge.
